Bui Family Union, USA (BFU-USA) serves as a Socio-Cultural Association focused on fostering cultural diversity and economic development through connections between Bui communities in the United States and Cameroon. With a membership of 200 individuals across 9 chapters in 8 US states, BFU-USA plays a significant role in promoting Bui heritage.

The organization is driven by a mission to preserve Bui Cultural Heritage, support Bui communities within the United States, and enhance economic development in the Bui Division of Cameroon. BFU-USA envisions a future where individuals of Bui descent residing in the US maintain fluency in their native language and remain actively engaged with their homeland.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, BFU-USA allocates an annual budget of $100,000 to fund various development projects in the Bui Division of Cameroon. This funding also extends to outreach efforts aimed at supporting Bui communities in the US, as well as initiatives designed to promote cultural diversity and increase awareness of Bui culture within the United States.

The annual National Convention stands out as a premier event for BFU-USA. Hosted on a rotating basis by each chapter, this convention is recognized as one of the foremost cultural gatherings for Cameroonians in the US, offering a platform for showcasing Bui culture. Additionally, it serves as an invaluable opportunity for participants to strengthen community ties through networking and the reestablishment of social and familial connections.

Guided by the principle "Wir Dze Wir Bii Wir" (Who you are is a reflection of your community), BFU-USA aims to empower the collective Bui community while encouraging individual contributions back to their homeland. This association not only celebrates cultural identity but also bolsters community strength and unity.
